The artist is in the centre of the page to show that he is the main subject of the magazine. The colour of the background is the same colour of the artists jacket so his face stands out alot more. This shot is given just enough light to show the detail of the artist, the shadow on his right side of his face to show that the lighting is on the left of him. The shot is just made up of the artist with bits of information around the sides to give a preview of what is inside of the magazine.
